The Association of Advertising Agencies of Nigeria (AAAN), the umbrella body for advertising professionals in Nigeria, has announced the removal of fees for the 2023 Advertising and Ideas Festival (LAIF) due to the economic situation in the country.
Jay Chukwuemeka, Chairman of the LAIF Management Board, through a statement announcing the entry fees removal, said, “Due to the current economic climate, the LAIF Management Board has reached a unanimous decision to remove the fees on category entries moving forward. According to the statement, the association expressed their excitement with the participation of agencies thus far. It reads, “We are excited at the gross participation of agencies thus far and we encourage other agencies to take advantage of this opportunity so we can all celebrate creativity together”.

“The LAIF Management Board is committed in delivering inclusion and empathy at every possible stage of engagement with AAAN Agencies”, the statement concluded.
Recall that the President of AAAN, Steve Babaeko, had announced that LAIF 2023 will take place from the 9th to the 18th of November, 2023.
