In practical demonstration of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) task to its host communities, SIFAX Group of Companies has commenced the distribution of basic items to major public health and educational institutions in Lagos State
SIFAX Group is an investment Company with business interests cutting across various economic sectors, including Maritime, Aviation, Oil & Gas, Haulage & Logistics, Financial Services and Hospitality.The company’s management, in continuation of the CSR object recently paid a corporate visit to some selected educational and public health institutions.
The company on the occasion visited premises of the General Hospital, Apapa where they made donation of digital equipment including six desktop computers, five laptops and eighteen wall Fans to the hospital management.

Speaking during the official presentation of the items donated to the Hospital management, the Group Head of Corporate Communications, SIFAX Group, Mr Olumuyiwa Akande stated that the donation was in furtherance of the company’s corporate philosophy of giving support to critical government institutions, especially those in the education and health sectors with a view to providing better access to health Care for Nigerians.

Akande noted that SIFAX Group believes that without good health, it will be difficult for Nigerians to be productive and make giant strides in their different endeavours.
“Our public health institutions are important in delivering this health care and that is the reason we decided to support the Apapa General Hospital in order to improve the quality of the hospital’s health care
”He pointed out that government alone could not single handedly meet all the needs of the society adding that Corporate organisations and public-spirited individuals have a critical role to play in the process and as such it was part of the company’s philosophy to give back to the society in any way that it can.
Receiving the items, the Chief Medical Director, Apapa General Hospital, Dr Ajibola Keshinro expressed appreciation to SIFAX Groups management for the gesture, noting that such items will go a long way to upscale the hospitals capacity to respond well to its responsibilities.

“We are deeply grateful to SIFAX Group for the items donated. It is our wish that other organisations will also take a cue and support the good work we are doing at Apapa General Hospital.
