Eminent Communications Appoints New CEO

Following the Demise of the former MD/CEO of Eminent Communications, Mr Sesan Ogunro, over a year ago, the company has taken steps to enhance its stability in the market by appointing a substantive Managing Director. He is Femi Femi- Shofu, the former MD/CEO of Admirecoms, a middle-level advertising agency based in Lagos.
[ad id=”187″]Before setting up Admirecoms, Femi Shofu had served as Creative Director at Eminent for a decade. However, even after setting up his creative shop, the rapport between the late Ogunro and femi-Shofu remained strong. This must have facilitated the easy “merger” between the two companies.

Within one week, both Admirecoms and Eminent have collapsed their operations into one, while Femi Femi-Shofu has since resumed work as the new MD/ CEO of Eminent Communications. The board of Eminent Communications has given Shofu two years to turn things around for the Struggling agency. His primary task would be to bring in millions of Naira owed the agency by some south-western states in Nigeria. Some states like Ekiti and Ondo have consistently rebuffed requests over the years even to settle the debts by installment.  Meanwhile anxiety looms among staff of Eminent Communications as Femi Shofu has carried out the first phase of “staff rationalization” to ensure that he is left with a leaner workforce.[ad id=”147″]
