Final Audition for Farouz Show Holds in UNILAG

Young fashion stars in Lagos  will take a big step toward making their dreams come true with the staging of the final lap of Fayrouz L’Original Expression Show season 2 auditions at University of Lagos today, 6th of June, 2015.
The competition has created a lot of expectations and buzz among registered participants and fashion lovers within and outside the country, and with the heightened level of registration and participation.
The involvement of Nigerian fashion royalty such as Omoyemi Akerele, Mai Atafo, Kelechi Amadi-Obi, Kunbi Oyelese and House Of Tara as judges, will also deepen the event. This year’s Fayrouz L’Original is expected to surpass last year’s maiden edition in terms of exposed talents and standard of competition. In addition, the youths participating are given the rear opportunity to meet the judges face to face and tap into an oasis of priceless feedback they get during the auditions.
Fayrouz-L’Original-Auditions-16Corporate Media And Brand PR Manager, NB Plc, Edem Vindah likened the Fayrouz L’Original Expression Show competition to the growing process of a child. In his words, “Fashion and the Arts over the past decade have had a strong resurgence in Nigeria after a period of stagnation, and we are at a crucial point in the evolution of both the talent and the fashion industry that surrounds it. This competition does much more than reward exceptional talent.”
Speaking about her expectations for the audition and the competition as a whole, Fayrouz Senior Brand Manager, Nnenna Ifebigh-Hemeson said, “We have put in place the best of hands to manage the audition process so we can have hitch free screenings. The jury is made up of seasoned fashion professionals who were chosen based on their expertise in the fashion and lifestyle industry and their ability not just to judge entries but also their passion mentor talent”.
