BrandiQ Reports

To commemorate this year’s first-ever world PR day celebrated on July 16 2021, leading PR Agency, Media Panache has planned a series of online interactions and activities geared towards promoting the global impact of public relations on businesses, governance and the world at large.

The Agency will be kickstarting the celebration with an intriguing Instagram live session hosted by a prominent member of the Media Panache team. The session will explore the true meaning of Public Relations, the art of brand storytelling, and more. During the session, viewers will stand the chance to win a 1-3 months internship placement with the Company.

Giveaways are also set to continue across all social media platforms as the Company will be giving away free copies of its revolutionary PR workbook designed to bridge the gap between the theory and practice of public relations in Nigeria.

Moving on in the celebration, several business owners will also be beneficiaries of free PR tips that are proven to increase visibility and awareness for brands businesses in an exciting Instagram live session with Entrepreneur and Talent Manager, Ubi Franklin.

Commenting on the celebration, Founder and CEO Media Panache, Timilehin Bello explained that it had become imperative for the world to understand the importance of PR and how to leverage its numerous benefits. He however, added that this can only be truly explained when PR professionals adequately communicate the key details of their practice.

In his words, “PR is image shaping through effective and efficient storytelling. PR professionals must understand that press releases, digital media, radio, TV and others are merely tools that we use to achieve our primary aim. But the central core of PR remains honest and reliable storytelling”.

“This year’s World PR Day is all about helping to strengthen the message of what PR stands for while enlightening the public on its immense benefits and how they can harness its potential for – not just business, but even national economic growth”, he concluded.

To drive conversations that will further entrench a deeper understanding of the true meaning of PR, the Company will host several conversations on Twitter and Clubhouse on career choices available to PR enthusiasts and how they can take advantage of them.

Held annually on July 16, World PR Day was first announced in August 2020 by Founder and CEO, BlackHouse Media (BHM), Ayeni Adekunle and was inspired by a need to present a unified global agenda to make the world understand and utilize PR better. The annual celebration is dedicated to truth, honesty and reputation management in a way that is beneficial to all humans across the globe.
