MediaReach OMD Set To Represent Nigeria At Cannes Young Lions Competition

Nigeria’s leading media buying agency, mediaReach OMD Nigeria, will represent the country at the 2016 Young Lions Media global competition slated for June this year following their emergence as winners of the Nigerian arm of the contest.
The competition is open to media professionals below the age of 30 working in various media agencies in Nigeria. The eight teams who participated in the competition this year were given a brief and had little over 24 hours to brainstorm and create winning media solutions to the brief. Eventually, a winner emerges after presentations before a jury made up of media communications and creative professionals.
The competition affords the next generation of industry leaders the opportunity to prove themselves by creating campaigns during the Festival week, where more than 400 contestants from around the globe compete in seven categories, ranging from PR to Media, Cyber, Design, Print, Film, Marketers and.
The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity is the world’s biggest celebration of creativity in marketing communications. It is also the greatest opportunity of the year for industry professionals to network and learn about brand communications.
