Like the President of the United States of America (@POTUS) Twitter account which was launched for Barrack Obama last year, the Nigerian Presidency has opened an account on an indigenous and biggest discussion forum, Nairaland.
Nairaland which was founded by techpreneur Seun Osewa in March 2005 has over 1.5 million users.
The Digital Strategy and Engagement Unit of the Nigerian Presidency, run by Tolu Ogunlesi announced the new account via Twitter.
With the user name is Presidency, Nigerians can now interact with the presidency on the platform.
