ABUJA-Elder statesman and former Minister of Finance, Mallam Adamu Ciroma is dead. Ciroma who was also a one-time Minister of Agriculture died in an Abuja hospital on Thursday after battling a protracted illness.
A former Managing Director of the New Nigerian Newspapers, Ciroma was a founding member of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). He was aged 84.
