Officials added that the group reflects a spread of talent from leading domestic clubs, including Cowrie, Racing, Barewa, Delta, Edo State, Zaria, Kwara Dynamite, Nigeria Police, AJ Sharks and Plateau Tigers, along with two players whose club details were not provided.

The NRFF confirmed on Thursday (yesterday) that the provisional group will be reduced to a final travelling party of 24 players for the Heritage Cup encounter in Accra, where Nigeria will aim to secure a strong performance against Ghana in one of West Africa’s most keenly contested rugby fixtures.
