Arsenal Joins Race For Mahrez

By Gilbert Alasa.
Arsenal are ready to join the race for Leicester City star Riyad Mahrez at the end of the season, according to sources.
Mahrez, 25, has scored 14 Premier League goals so far this season as well as providing 10 assists for league leaders Leicester.
According to ESPN, Arsenal are maintaining a watching brief on Mahrez and are ready to move for the Algeria international should he seek a move in the summer.
Riyad Mahrez has played a key role in Leicester’s surprise Premier League title challenge this season.
The winger agreed a new deal at the start of the season to keep him at Leicester until 2019, but the Foxes are bracing themselves for interest in the former Le Havre man, who has been linked with clubs including Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri suggested last week that he would allow Mahrez to leave the King Power Stadium at the end of the season if he were to request a move.
