Public Accountability On The Front Burner As BrandiQ 2015 Symposium Beckons

All is now set for the 2015 Brand Nigeria Symposium organized by Nigeria’s leading brands and business magazine, BrandiQ. According to the planning committee of the symposium, this year’s event, which is the third in the series, will take place on Wednesday, November 4 at the Metropolitan Club in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The theme for this year’s BrandiQ symposium is: “Reinventing Brand Nigeria for the 21st Century Market Economy through Public Accountability and Responsible Citizenship.“ Eminent speakers have been invited to speak at this special forum.  Former Minister of Education and Senior Economic Advisor of Open Society Foundation, Dr. Oby Ezekwesili will be the guest speaker at the symposium while the keynote address will be delivered by the Vice President of Nigeria, Professor Yemi Osinbajo.

Other speakers invited as discussants who would dissect various issues thrown up by the Guest Speaker include,   Prof. Chidi Odinkalu – Chairman, Nigerian Human Rights Commission;  Prof. Emevwo Biakolo – Director, PhD Programme, Pan Atlantic University, Lagos;  and Prof. Abubakar Momoh – DG, The Electoral Institute, Abuja.
The event which is expected to chart a new course for accountability in the new dispensation will kick off at 10am Nigerian Time.
