The Federal House of House of Representatives has issued a 7-day ultimatum to the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Adamu over the allegations of police brutality and extar-judicial killings by the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS).
The adhoc committee set up by the House of Representatives on the ongoing nationwide protests against the now-defunct Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police Force has summoned the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu.

The IGP is to appear before the panel on October 22.
