The Lagos State Chapter of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR) will on September 15, 2023 begin its 34th Annual General Meeting (AGM) and PR Week.
According to the organisers of the event, the Lagos PR Week with the theme: “Innovation and Disruption: Unlocking Opportunities for PR Practice”, will start from September 15 and end on September 21, 2023.
On Friday, September 15, 2023, there will be PR Practitioners Evening of Cocktail, featuring discussions on the future of PR, networking opportunities, music, and premier entertainment. This event will bring together key figures from Nigeria’s PR Industry and the Media.

Saturday, September 16, 2023, will be dedicated to Health Awareness for PR Practitioners, Friends, and Families.
There will also be recreational activities, including a Health Walk, Health Check, Football Challenge, Aerobics, Fanfare, Tug of War, among others.
Other activities slated for the AGM include
a friendly match between NIPR Lagos and the Nigerian lnstitute of Journalism (NIJ), Ogba, scheduled for 7:30 am.
The grand finale of the PR Week will hold on Thursday, September 21, 2023, by 10am at Agip Recital Hall, Muson Centre, Onikan, Lagos. It will feature Annual Lecture, AGM, and General Elections.
Also, a PR Digital Summit will hold between October 18 and 19,2023 at Sheraton Hotel, Lagos.
