Confusion Trails Abubakar Audu’s Burial

By Gilbert Alasa.
Reports reaching BrandiQ have it that tension has gripped residents of Ogbonicha in Kogi State, following the delay in the burial of the late All Progressives Congress gubernatorial candidate in the Saturday election in Kogi State, Abubakar Audu, who died Sunday evening.
The burial, which was initially scheduled for 10am, (today) Monday, attracted the anger of mourners who waited endlessly without the burial taking place. The angry crowd of mourners demanded that his corpse be brought out. The incidence forced security personnel to block the entrance to the late politician’s home to forestall breakdown of law and order.

“Some of the relations banged repeatedly at the door of the room where the corpse of the late APC candidate is kept awaiting burial,” a reporter monitoring the burial said.
“A cleric was reportedly seen taken into the house to pray and possibly revive the late politician. “Interesting twist as prophet seeks to pray for Audu’s corpse and bring him back to life. The prayer man has been forcefully taken in by the wish of the crowd and they have all joined in the prayers for the resurrection of Audu with Holy Ghost fire renting the air as well as shouts of Allahu Akbar.”
‎”Dino Melaye and some family members came out through the back door to calm the angry crowd.
