The 2023/ 2024 English Premier league has kicked off already with some upsets and also some mouth-watering displays.
This season sees the likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur trying to get back into the top four after missing out last season.
Now, we will be assessing the four Clubs that are likely to clinch the top four places and get into the UEFA Champions League football for the next season based on their current form.
4. Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur like Chelsea and Liverpool were unable to enter into the top four last season. Tottenham now has a new coach in Postecoglou who embraces an idealistic attacking football that Spurs fans craved. He has brought a new lease of life with four wins and a draw in five matches. Impressive results are right.
Even after selling their captain and best player Harry kane to Bayern Munich, I see them clinching the number four position with their current form at the end of the season.
3. Arsenal
Last season was the best opportunity for Arsenal to have won the league due to other big clubs like Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Tottenham Hotspur all fumbling at the same time. But they came short toward the end of the season and surrendered the league to premier league monster Manchester City.
Mikel Arteta has transformed the youthful Arsenal team with confidence oozing out of them.
They have not rested on their second place achievement of last season with the acquisition of ktai Havertz, Declan Rice – their record breaking buy – and Timber to further strengthen the team and push for a Premier League assault.
Arsenal are among the favorite to win the league this season, but I see them dropping one place below of their second place finish last season to third place finish this season.

2. Liverpool
Liverpool is a team to watch out this season. They had a disappointing season last time out by missing out on the top four finish but gave a good account of themselves towards the end of last season with a number five position.
Jurgen Klopp have sold some dead legs and some experience and injury prone players and replaced them with Dominik Szoboszlai, Alexis Mac-allister, Endo, and Graverbech to freshen up the team and give it a lift.
Liverpool attack of Mohammed Salah, Darwin Nuynez, Diaz, Jota, and Gakpo will challenge defending champion Manchester City toe-to-toe in winning the league this season.
The top two are their likeliest position at the end of the season.
1. Manchester City
The defending Champion and Treble winning team dominated every team in the league last season, with the exception of Brentford.
At this point, a top four finish is par for the course for pep Guardiola and his treble winning side. It is simply non-negotiable and impossible for them to miss out on the top four.
They have become a monster in the English premier league with ruthless players like Erling Haaland scoring with reckless abandon. It will be shocking to see them finish second this season. They are the favorite to win the premier league again.
