Enyeama Loses Ligue 1 Goalkeeper Prize To Mandanda

Nigeria’s Vincent Enyeama lost the best goalkeeper award to Steve Mandanda in a ceremony held in Paris on Sunday evening
The Lille shot stopper could not stop Olympic Marseille’s Steve Mandanda from grabbing the award in French topflight league.
The Nigerian made the list of nominees for the most outstanding players in France this season after keeping 14 clean sheets in 21 out of 35 matches for sixth placed Lille.
He was named among the top 10 goalkeepers in Europe for the 2015/16 season by the Swiss-based CIES Football Observatory, where he placed sixth behind Manuel Neuer, Jan Oblak, Gianluigi Buffon, Kevin Trapp and Claudio Bravo.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was named the Ligue 1 Player of the Year for the third time in four seasons dusting off competition from Paris Saint-Germain team-mate Ángel Di María, Hatem Ben Arfa of Nice and Lassana Diarra of Olympique Marseille.
