An e-commerce platform, Hisell Technology, has launched to help small businesses integrate sales and marketing tools on a single platform and address operational challenges associated with running digital businesses.

In a statement on Tuesday, the company said the platform allows business owners to manage product listings, customer communication, payments, and marketing activities from one dashboard, reducing reliance on multiple third-party tools.

According to the founder, Chidiebere Okpechi, the platform was developed in response to challenges faced by small businesses operating primarily on social media platforms.

“Many small businesses rely heavily on social media for sales, but account suspensions, low visibility, and fragmented tools often disrupt their operations,” he said. “Hisell was built to help businesses retain control of their customer relationships while simplifying daily operations.”

He said the platform enables businesses to maintain direct access to customer data while still leveraging social media platforms for visibility and promotions.

“Social media remains important for reach, but businesses should not lose everything because of a single disruption,” he said. “Our goal is to provide a stable infrastructure that works alongside these platforms.”

Hisell also offers automated marketing features designed to help business owners promote products without advanced digital advertising skills, as well as a delivery rating system aimed at improving order fulfilment.

According to him, small and medium-sized enterprises account for a significant share of Nigeria’s economic activity, yet many continue to face challenges related to fragmented digital tools, logistics, and limited marketing capacity.

“By bringing core business functions into one platform, we are helping small businesses focus more on serving customers and growing sustainably,” the founder said.

Commenting, Board Advisor for Operations Jumoke Omodeni said the platform was designed to simplify business processes for small business owners.

“Hisell addresses the day-to-day operational challenges that entrepreneurs face on digital platforms,” she noted. “By integrating sales, marketing, and customer management into a single platform, we are giving business owners the space to focus on growth, serving customers, and building sustainable businesses.”
