A Former Minister of Information and Communications, Mr Frank Nweke has said it is high time the youths get involved in political leadership because there is no any other business that is as important as politics in Nigeria today.
Nweke, who disclosed during an interview on ‘Sunday Politics’ Programme on Channelstv and Monitored by BrandiQ on Monday (Today), added that: ”Politics is key and fundamental to everything in this country, hence the need for citizen awareness and participation to grow our democracy.”
The Co-Chairman, Fix Politics Nigeria also stressed that without the citizens, there is no democracy, and citizens’ involvement should be prioritized as a panacea to fix the already basterdized politics in Nigeria.
