Protest, Outrage Trails Ministerial Nominees

The unveiling of the ministerial nominees on Tuesday by the Nigerian Senate has sparked series of protests from various groups, including members of the leading All Progressives Congress in Lagos, Oyo and Rivers States.
An anti-corruption syndicate, Integrity Group, called one of the nominees and former Rivers States Governor, Rotimi Amaechi, to clear his name over allegations of fraud perpetrated by his administration.

The group also said former Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, should be investigated over alleged cases of financial misconduct while in office as the Governor of Lagos State.
Members of the ruling party in Oyo state have also asked President Muhammed Buhari to remove Adebayo Shittu from the list over alleged anti-party activities.
