Trending: Nigerians On Twitter Condemn Buhari On Trips

By Gilbert Alasa.
President Buhari’s foreign trips stirred the anger of Nigerians on Twitter on Friday as many took to the #WakawakaBuhari hashtag to express concerns over the President’s frequent trips.
Some of the respondents say President Buhari should stay in Nigeria and solve the myriad of problems facing the country.
The agitations rose this morning following reports that President Muhammadu Buhari will depart Abuja today Friday for Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt to participate in the Business for Africa, Egypt and the World Forum.
The forum, which opens in the Egyptian resort town on Saturday, February 20, 2016, is being organized by the Egyptian government under the auspices of the African Union Commission.
A Twitter user Gifted Hands wrote: “After May 29th, Buhari has travelled to more than 20 different countries, but he has not visited up to 10 states in Nigeria.”

In his tweet, popular blogger and columnist with Punch newspaper, Japheth Omojuwa described the conversation as attempts to discredit the President Buhari’s administration by the Peoples Democratic Party.
