British American Tobacco Nigeria Fisayo-Okusanya as marketing deployment director

As part of its support towards the furtherance of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) agenda tand also promoting diversity through workplace policies, the British American Tobacco Nigeria has appointed Kikelomo Fisayo-Okusanya as the Marketing Deployment Director for the West and Central Africa Cluster.

Her expertise, according to the company, lies in combining creativity with tech, and this appointment serves as a testament. Kikelomo’s name is now in the BAT’s book of record as the second woman to join the cluster’s leadership team. Before now, she was formerly occupying the seat in her role as the Area Head of 360 Activation & Marketing Operations.

A seasoned marketing professional with over two decades of experience in the marketing landscape, Kikelomo joined BAT Nigeria in 2003 as a Trade Marketing Representative. In 2016, she assumed the role of Area Head for Activation and Shopper Marketing.

Since then, she has been setting new bars and benchmark while breaking new boundaries in the industry through her impressive and operational excellence. These rare accomplishments have no doubt, earned her  the special recognition as the Area Head for 360 Activation & Marketing Operations in 2021, a position she held until recently.

In this capacity and with a career that has been marked with notable achievements, she left her indelible mark by pioneering an immersive virtual reality market experience and orchestrating a major overhaul of the Marketing Skills and Development unit.

Her distinctive ability in building exceptional brands, merged with her rare competence and passion, has today, emblazoned her career into a recognizable trait.

Cheering the news of Kikelomo’s appointment, Yarub Al-Bahrani, the Managing Director of BAT Nigeria, affirmed that her strategic insight and creative prowess perfectly align with the company’s vision of strong brand building and sustained growth. He also acknowledged that the award-winning company is committed to upholding and implementing the policies of DEI.
