EXMAN Upskills Members With Operational, Financial Training

In a bid to boost the operational and financial capacity of its members, the Experiential Marketers Association of Nigeria (EXMAN) has held two separate training sessions for its members.

The training sessions which were targeted at the operations and finance teams across agencies, had different modules that focused on topics covering both areas.

The Operations Management Training had 17 Participants in attendance with feedback collected through an online survey while the Finance training had 20 participants attended the training, and their feedback was also taken through an online survey.

According to the association, both sessions received positive feedback with participants highlighting the training’s unique relevance and hands-on approach as the general take-away.

The Operations Management training which was held on 23rd August 2023 at EXMAN Secretariat, Gbagada Lagos was designed to equip participants with essential operations management competencies and strategies.

The objective was to enhance the participant’s understanding of project management theories, develop practical day-day operational management skills and foster effective communication and collaboration among others. The Sessions included case studies, role-play exercises and group discussions with 20 agencies being represented.

The facilitator also utilized relevant resource materials such as finance management books and articles.

The Finance in Experiential Marketing Training which was held on Thursday 28th September 2023 at the same venue was designed to explore and deepen participants’ knowledge of financial management, in order to develop practical day-to-day skills that ensure company finances are handled in a way that allows organizations to be successful and compliant with regulations.

The training left the participants with requisite skills and knowledge that would ultimately maximize investors’ profit and optimize the firm’s money usage. The training also comprised of various aspects of financial management, budgeting, and project financing.

Mrs. Tolulope Medebem, President of the association revealed that the association intends to schedule a minimum of 4 training sessions within the calendar year, with subject areas cutting across Client Service, Operations, Strategy and Finance to create networking opportunities to foster connections and collaborations among participants.
