The FirstBank Lagos Amateur Open Golf Championship, the 61st edition in the series begins today, November 18, 2022, and ends Sunday, November 20th, 2022, at the Golf section of The Ikoyi Club, Lagos.
This is an annual event that attracts the best amateur golfers domestically and internationally, having achieved the status of the World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR) event.
The championship hosts between 270 – 300 golfers to compete for the $5,000 reward. The Lagos Amateur Golf Championship also features: Coaching clinics for amateur players; Coaching clinics for children, anchored by the Ladies’ Golf section; Challenges such as Beat the Pro, Longest Drive and Closest to the pin; and Guest play for male and female golfers
