After a year and three months as Media Manager at Coca-Cola Nigeria, Dozie Okafor has returned to PHD West Africa, one of Nigeria’s leading media agencies, as the new CEO. Okafor replaced PHD’s former CEO Bayo Adisa who resigned recently.
He will be leading PHD’s new phase of growth in Nigeria and across the West African region and reposition the agency which is an affiliate of PHD worldwide, to develop new and more aggressive strategies for clients’ brand building efforts.
Before joining Coca-Cola, Okafor worked as Head, Media Strategy and Planning at PHD Media from February, 2011 to February, 2016  (5 years and one month).
Okafor, a University of Nigeria and Lagos Business School graduate, is one of an emerging group of young executives in Nigeria’s media advertising space, who now represent a generational shift in the industry, and are poised to make the media segment more vibrant and globally competitive. In the last few months, a number of young talents have equally been appointed to top positions in some of the leading media agencies in Nigeria.
